Produced by local Indian artisans, vintage Kantha quilts are created by stitching together multiple layers of saris which are no longer suitable for wear but are wonderfully soft and ideal for being repurposed into blankets. Traditionally these quilts would have been made by a Maa (mother) or Nani (grandmother) and passed to members of the family; now you too can be cocooned in love. 

Kantha is the Sanskrit word for “rags”, but as you will see, nothing could be further from the truth when the end product is one of these stunning, eco-conscious cotton quilts
